Michael Phelps at International Swimming Hall of Fame this weekend!

International Swimming Hall of Fame (ISHOF) Executive Director Bruce Wigo has just announced that Michael Phelps, Rowdy Gaines, Greg Louganis, Milorad Cavic (the guy Phelps touched out for Gold by .001 second in the Olympics) and many more of the greatest names in swimming and diving worldwide will be at the 46th annual International Swimming Hall Of Fame induction ceremony Saturday, May 8, the pinnacle four days of water sports activities here.

I don't know about you, but a chance to see and maybe meet the all-time greatest swimmer in human history...and perhaps the greatest Olympic athlete in my lifetime...is still kind of special to me!  I'm not THAT jaded by South Florida celebrities yet.  So can you imagine how thrilling it can be and will be for kids from all over South Florida...swimmers and non-swimmers alike...to be able to see and maybe meet ONE OF THE GREATEST OLYMPIC CHAMPIONS EVER right here this weekend in Fort Lauderdale??

C'mon, folks!  Please help spread the word...and get out there with your kids and their friends! Click here for all the event details...

I hope to see you there this weekend. It could be a once-in-a-lifetime event...and probably will be if we don't so something soon with that property! Phelps, Louganis, Guy Harvey et al sure aren't coming here to visit the 'Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Complex'...they're coming for the International Swimming Hall of Fame...but more on that subject another time!.
